1 Corinthians 12:12-31

                                                Unity in Diversity.

We are all given gifts; we have a responsibility to use those gifts we have been given for the furtherance of Father’s Kingdom.  There is not gift that is more important than another, and we have to remember that Father gives the gifts and not us.  In two weeks I will be attending a family reunion in the upper peninsula of Michigan.  The family members are made up of some very liberal people, and some very conservative people. Yet the love this family has for each other is without measure.  Here is the key to the whole thing.  As family members in the Family bought with a price we have an obligation to look upon others gifting as a gift to us.  We must acknowledge that for the family to become the best that it can be we have to be able to understand the giftings that are given to each individual and at the same time look at our own gifting, and by doing so work together for the furtherance of the Kingdom of God.

We must always keep in mind that our gifts are not for the building up of ourselves but for the building up of the body.  We must always be looking for ways to use the giftings  we have to help establish someone else in the kingdom.  If we are willing to do so then we will see Father’s kingdom really flourish.

Go in peace
