Romans 7:13-25

Paul understood.

Paul understood the frustration of knowing what the right thing to do was, but then doing the opposite.  He understood that the law instead of drawing people to Father was actually forcing them away from Fathers grace because of their inability to keep the law.  So many times we really mess up, I mean really mess up. We know that because we have a picture of what the right thing to do is, it’s called the law. Over and over we humans find a way of instead of living a life of victory, we choose to do those things which the enemy uses to destroy us.  Paul over and over goes to great lengths to explain the futility of trying to keep the law that ultimately leads to mans destruction.  There is only one way that the demands of the law can be accomplished.  That happens in verse 1 of Romans 8.  There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the spirit.  Man slips, man messes up, and man makes bad choices.  But man by having the Holy Spirit dwelling within him, when he messes up repents and walks in the cleansing that the Holy Spirit continually gives.  We are washed by the sacrificial Blood that Christ shed on the cross . Daily we are made clean by the blood of Christ that flowed from his Holy Veins on that Friday two thousand year ago.   Today as you go about your every day tasks walk in that newness, in that forgiveness that Christ gave on the cross so you can accomplish all that the Christ has for you do to.

Go in peace
