In this portion of scripture Paul is telling the Philippians to stand. Not run, not attack just to stand firm in the Lord. How many times have we had opposition come against us, and instead of standing our ground we gave a quick compromise and walked on. A quick compromise that dilutes the Gospel we know to be true. My friends our Father through the Son by the Spirit paid a huge price so we could be saved from the enemy that would enslave us. It’s time to stop compromising on that which we know to be true. And stand on the rock of our salvation. It’s time to say enough and walk in the truth that the word gives us. Jesus said, I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through me.” I encourage each and every one of us to stand on truth. People’s lives depend on our standing on the truth. The truth does set people free.
Go in peace
