Matthew 24:40-41
As in the days of Noah
Father is in heaven, looks over to the Son and says” it’s time.” Jesus tells us it shall be as in the days of Noah. That some shall be taken and some left behind. What exactly this is going to look like I am not sure. There are two schools of thought on this one. In the days of Noah the bad guys were wiped off the face of the earth. Noah was saved by being placed in an ark which Father had him build. If we look at Sodom again we see the bad guys being taken off the face of the earth. The fact of the matter is this, we have to be ready. We have to make sure everyone around us has his/her relationship built on Christ.
When that happens they will not have to worry about being “left behind” but will be in a place of safety as Father does a cleansing of the earth. I do not know the day or the hour or the year for that matter. But this I do know Christ return is one day closer than it was yesterday. He will have a cleansed and purified church. There will be no room for rationalizing our sin. There will be no room for saying I just could not help myself. Remember we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. We can walk by the spirit in the Holiness that Father wants for our lives. There are advantages to walking in the Holiness that Father lays out for us. (As Paul stated, I am chief among sinners. I struggle as well. These words are for me as well.) There is no guilt. There is no question of right or wrong. There are no grey areas. Father is clear in his word what is right and what is wrong. It’s man who turns the colors grey. Father would have us live by his word. He would have us walking with his Son by his Spirit in a way that brings glory to himself. That is done by reading his word and using his word as a guide to a persons life and behavior.
As we do this we will have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Go in peace
Michael
