Mark 3:1-6
                                                                                    Remember the Sabbath
As The Christ stood in front of the Pharisees. He asked them a question. Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath.  They would not answer him.  A man with a withered hand had come into the assembly and the Christ was about to heal him on the Sabbath.  But because it did not “fit” into the narrow definition of the Sabbath that the Pharisees had they would end up trying to have the Christ “taken” out because he did not fit into their narrow view of the Sabbath.  But let’s for a moment take a look at the commandment. Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy.  What better day of the week for Father to show his stuff than on His day?   The Christ told the man with the withered hand to stretch it out.  He did and our Father in heaven glorified himself in an instant by making the man whole.  Yet the enemy will use every form of lie and deceit he can to destroy the people of God our Father who would be willing to attack and defeat him .  It’s time that we as believers stop letting the enemy of our souls have our lunch and become aggressive against him.  Remember our weapons are many. The word of God is our first. Prayer is right up there with it.  Our testimony is a third.  We must counter every lie that is thrown our way with the truth.  We must squash every slander of God’s people.  It’s time to go to war.
Go in peace
