Luke 12:8-11 Confess Christ before men. How many times have we been walking down the street and have seen someone that just seems odd. Maybe this person has a ring through their nose, pierced ears, and tattoos all over their body. You look into their eyes as you pass them and they just seem lifeless. Your eyes look away, and you feel you don’t really want to “talk” to this person. I must confess I have been there many times myself. The bottom line is this, Jesus the Christ once said (Mathew 25:40) as you have done it onto the least of these my brothers you have done it onto me. Let me ask a question. Did Christ go to the cross for that person whose appearance is something other than the norm? Or did he go to the cross for everyone? Remember this, when you are asked to help, let those words of Christ go through you mind. “As you have done it onto the least of these my brothers you have done it onto me. Go in peace Michael. |
