James 1:19-24
Be slow to speak but, swift to hear.
I can’t even count the number of times I have said something and have had it come back to haunt me.
Or I have done something out of impulse and have it come back to bite me in my bottom.  Matthew 5:37 the Christ says let your yes be yes and your no, no.  Our word has to be our bond.   I really did not mean “that” does not really wash with what our Father expects from us.   The bottom line is this. If we as followers of the Great I am by His Son, through His Spirit say something we are bound by it.  If we say something we must live by it.  In our professional life this becomes critical. We must be able to be trusted.  In our personal life as well there is nothing more important than being able to be trusted.   When we say something it must be able to be taken to the bank.  The lesson be careful what you say. As James says, be slow to speak and swift to hear what Father really wants said.
Go in peace
Michael.
