Acts 4:1-4
                                                                                                     They were annoyed.
IF Pharisees and Sadducees were around today would we annoy them?   This became a huge obsession with the followers of Christ as the eyewitnesses to the resurrection  shared their experiences with anyone who would listen.  The Pharisees and Sadducees saw their power base being eroded.  They felt the only defense was to take those who communicated the Truth of Christ off the street, to silence them if you will.  Nothing has changed.  The enemy still tries to silence those who bring forth truth.  The only way a lie can be sustained is by the truth being silenced from the ears of people who have only heard lies and deceit.   We need to be truth tellers.  We need to be the voice of one crying in the wilderness.  We need to be unapologetic with the gospel of Christ.  Each and every one of us needs to be that person who they would put in jail for telling the truth about the Christ.  There needs to be enough evidence to convict us.  The gospel of Christ need to become such an obsession with us that they will do all that they can to silence us.  Let’s become more aggressive in our approach with the truth that Christ came to save the lost.
Go in peace
